Fourth Day- Finding my Voice

I’m not much of an outline person but I do put some short paragraphs and ideas down before I actually start writing. I’ve discovered that I’m more of a free writer. I have a notebook that I’ve started to use for this story and put all my notes down there.

I was able to write about 900 words today using free writing. I have decided that I will do revisions later…I just want to get the ideas down while they are in my head. I’m not sure how well this work but it is going to be my process for now.

I’m kind of feeling a little nervous about how this is going, but keep reminding myself that this is just a rough draft. I’m sure the story will develop more because the basic idea is there and I know where I want to end up.

The process is exciting and learning as I go is interesting too, but I may do some flash fiction writing shortly just to keep ideas fresh. Onward and upward…getting there slow and steady.
