Perfect Space

You get to build your perfect space for reading and writing. What’s it like?

Building the perfect space to write feels like a dream come true, and my perfect space provides comfort and privacy. I also need to have a nice view for inspiration so I would have to move as well. So let’s get the plans started.

The first thing that is required is moving to a mountain home that provides a great view of a mountain and lake through a big bay window. Inspiration is key and a great view helps in creating inspiration by peace.

The second thing is of course a nice desk and chair to be comfortable. Being comfortable to be able to lean back and do some serious thinking is a key as well. I will need to do a lot of thinking.

Third I will need some of my favorite books around me to feel the magic of reading. Reading helps inspire me to write my stories. I hope all this great writing can seep into my writing.

To tie it all together a nice big fireplace for the cold winters in the mountain, and a nice ceiling fan with central air for cooling in the summer. Being comfortable is something that helps make writing that much easier.

All of this will make for a comfortable place and make it a perfect place for me to write but that isn’t all that is needed. The will and tenacity to keep writing is the key to writing, and I think I have that in me now so maybe the perfect room can come later.
