I’m not counting the days anymore. I have struggled to keep up with my goal of 1000 words a day, but realize that might be a little ambitious so I’ve decided on 800 words a day…too much? I was able to get to get in about 600 words today for a grand total of 3,722 words so far…slow and steady, but still need to get more words down in a day.
I find it frustrating sometimes to get started and maybe adding a small prompt to start would help with that process. Right now I’m using a free writing process with my rough draft. I kind of just write what comes to my mind. I’m not sure if that is a good way to go, but that is what I’m using right now. I also do a little summarizing outlining before I start writing.
I hope to get to a 15,000 words before the end of the month. I guess I better get more words down if that is going to happen…lol.
