The story, set in the 20s-40s in the United States is about a seventeen year-old girl discovered at a side show and decides to rescue her from life of being exploited. She is taken into their life as one of their own children and discovers that she has amazing abilities.
This wonderful story can make you really feel the characters emotions and make you laugh and cry making you feel there is some hope in human nature and the strength of family.
This latest book by Dean Koontz is probably in the top 5 of books I’ve read and give it 5 stars. I hope you pick up this book…I know you will enjoy it as much as I do.
